We had so much fun at Pokeworks at the launch of our first Family Food Fun! event on March 29, 2024.

Pokeworks was generous to give 25% of the proceeds of guests that came to our event.

Shown left to right: Board Chair, Anna Wise, Founder/President, Cameron Hunter, and special guest, D'Nece Hunter (founder's wife).

The food was great and company was even better!

We look forward to our next event at Black Walnut in April.

Through the generous donations from a couple of our corporate donors: Gulfgate Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and Community Minerals, we were able to bless 275 students in Alief ISD between the ages of 4 and 15 years. It is through these types of donations that we are able to reach those families that need that extra dose of hope during the Christmas season. Our goal is to provide assistance to homeless families throughout the year. We are excited for 2024!

Wilcrest Baptist Church teamed up with Restoration House of Houston to provide Christmas gifts to homeless students of the Alief ISD McKinney-Vento program. Members of the Board went shopping and on December 12, 2022 gifts were delivered! On Thursday, 329 students of the program were blessed with a gift this Christmas season. We are so grateful to Wilcrest Baptist Church and our generous donors, through our candle fundraiser and through cash donations that made this happen. We look forward to our next event with Alief ISD.

On December 8, 2022, Restoration House of Houston hosted an OPEN HOUSE at our new location, 9894 Bissonnet. Our new office location offers us the ability to host events in the building conference room which will be a benefit as we build out our residential housing program for our homeless families. Guests in attendance were from Alief ISD, Knowledge First, Family Promise, and other organizations. Our founder, Cameron Hunter, delivered a welcome message and we mingled and enjoyed refreshments. Thank you for those people were able to attend!

A special interview with founder and president, Cameron Hunter, on what was the driver for this agency and what he hopes to accomplish in the Alief community.

We are so grateful for all performers, volunteers and participants.  We are especially grateful for the donors that support our agency. A sincere thank you to everyone that made this evening possible.

Our Annual Christmas Candle Fundraiser was once again a hit! We were able to raise enough money to bless 131 unsheltered students at Alief ISD from the ages of 4 to over 17!

If you are ever at Five Below in Stafford or Sugar Land, please be sure to stop in and patron these stores. They were angels as they helped us pick out gifts for 131 students all in the span of 2 days! Back and forth texts and helpful  advice for choices for age-appropriate toys was surely a surprise for these sweet students to open.

Please enjoy the pictures. We had a fun time blessing these students and look forward to more times like these.

In attendance: Cameron Hunter (Founder/President/CEO), Anna Wise (Board Chairperson), Ralph Crowder (Board Chaplain), and Denise Rahming (Board Secretary)

Because of the generosity of our donors during our 2018 Christmas Candle Fundraiser, we were able to raise enough money to purchase winter supplies for homeless individuals in downtown Houston. Board Members and Friends of the Board gathered together to assemble backpacks full of supplies like warm socks, gloves, hats, etc. and pass them out to the homeless. It was a memorable event for all.

2018 FALL CHRISTMAS CANDLE FUNDRAISER

We raised over $1000 through our Scented Candle Fundraiser to help those in need during the holidays! It's now over and because of your support, we've exceeded our goal of $1000 by raising $1098! We purchased tube socks, knit hats, knit gloves, scarves & personal hygiene packets to gave them out, with the help of some wonderful volunteers, to the homeless to help them through the winter.

Would you like to volunteer for these types of events? Then contact us to get on our emailing list!

Thanks again for your support!
