~ Bringing Restoration & Hope To Homeless Families ~

10-unit apartment building

RHH looks to own a 10-unit apartment building where the program will reside. Seven apartments will be for seven families. Two will be for Classrooms and offices while the last will be for a Resident Manager. The above picture is for example only and does not necessarily represent the specific design that RHH plans to acquire.

Our Vision

Did you know that right here in our hometown of Houston that a homeless couple (man & woman) with children, must split up in order to have a place to stay? The man is usually sent to a men’s shelter while the woman is taken to a “family” shelter with the children. Our organization, Restoration House of Houston (RHH), is creating a solution to this dilemma! We are a faith-based program designed to help repetitively homeless families combat the issues of homelessness; and unlike other programs, we will house the entire family.

Our program focuses on the following:

  • • Provide housing for a qualified family for a 2-year period, in their own apartment, on a RHH property. During this time the family will concentrate on the issues keeping them from success.
    • On-site counseling and classroom study conducted by the professional staff of RHH. We also collaborate with other quality programs in the community.
    • Serving the family and through this service our desire is that the family will have a found, or renewed, relationship with God.
    •A healthy self-esteem
    • Acquired job skills
    • Parenting skills
    • An education (GED or vocation)
    • Improved self-discipline
    • A mindset for success
    • A higher standard of living for the family
    • A readiness for homeownership
    • A desire to give back
